Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Deescalation in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment for patients, visitors, and staff while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor screening and directions, and support access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required activity logs for security-related events and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
