Are you a banking and finance lawyer looking to develop your career in a high performing and internationally recognised team?
We have an opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join our Finance and Corporate team practice in Luxembourg. We are seeking a mid-level lawyer with proven experience in either banking or corporate transactional work. You’ll work closely with senior fee earners on complex, high profile, cross border matters, with strong exposure to clients and early responsibility. Our client base includes leading financial institutions, corporates, private equity houses and investment funds.

Salary range: €75,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience, qualifications and relevant expertise.
About the role
Advise on a broad range of cross border banking and finance matters
Be involved in a wide variety of finance transactions, including fund finance, structured finance and asset finance transactions
Assist on financial restructurings and general banking work
Draft legal documentation & memos
Conduct extensive legal research
Build and maintain strong client relationships through direct interaction
Contribute to the delivery of complex, high value matters
Collaborate with colleagues across jurisdictions and practice areas
Take ownership of workstreams and manage matters with appropriate supervision
About you
Around 3-5 years of experience as a banking and finance lawyer within a law firm in Luxembourg
Master's degree in law
Passed the CCDL or planning to do so
Demonstrable experience in areas such as structured finance, asset finance, fund finance or financial restructuring
Experience gained at, or training with, an international law firm
Ability to manage complex work and operate with a high level of responsibility
Effective communication skills, with the ability to build effective client relationships
Strong organizational skills
Good written and verbal communication skills in French and English
Pro-active, service-minded and team spirit
