Job Description:
The Director Services Quote to Cash AMS Operations, Global Experience and Sovereignty is in charge of:
AMS Services Quote 2 Cash Operations
Owns KPIs (e.g., cycle time, quality, renewal/attachment performance), budget, and delivery outcomes; leverage business insights and installed base data to support AMS growth initiatives and drive continuous improvement
Drives process simplification, standardisation, and digitisation at scale, accelerating automation and AI adoption to reduce manual work, improve cycle times, and increase productivity
Global Services Q2C Experience Improvement
Federal & Sovereignty Strategy
This role leads a large team of > 170 employees including managers of managers and > 20 Contractors. The team is mainly located in Chennai, Bangalore, Costa Rica, and the US. This role is reporting into the VP SQ2C Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Directs a team of high-level individual contributors and managers across multiple job families within the sales operations function that typically support operational or strategic activities (see examples under MG1).
- Balances spend across multiple budgets within department.
- Responsible for talent management and succession planning; ensures that the proper tools are in place to support the team and the processes.
- Develops overall sales operations policies and goals in consultation with senior management.
- Recognizes conflicting priorities and proposes solutions to senior management.
- Advises on planning for future state organizational structure.
Education and Experience Required:
- Typically, 12+ years of experience in a business-related function, preferably Operations, Channel Management, Services Delivery or Finance
- Preferably Quote to Cash experience
- Experienced in managing senior managers and large teams and/or organizations.
- 5+ years' experience in a leadership role developing high-performance teams preferable in a global cross-functional environment.
- Must have experience in running large scale organization and driving significant transformations to improve experience and efficiency
- Demonstrated evidence of achieved planned financial results at an organizational level.
- MBA highly desired, or advanced university degree. Bachelor's degree required.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent Stakeholder and external Partner management skills which includes verbal and written communication skills, including advanced negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Excellent project management and operations skills, including leading cross functional initiatives and time and risk management.
- Proven track record to continuously improve Experience and Efficiency of large-scale Organizations.
- Experience in implementation of (Agentic) AI and Automation Solutions
- Experience in implementation large scale transformation initiatives with clearly defined business outcome.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business data and driving related business decisions
- Superior business and financial acumen to develop meaningful business recommendations. Understands the portfolio aspect of the businesses products/services and how the businesses work together.
- Advanced relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting
- Mastery in English and local language as well as other languages as required.
- Advanced finance skills and ability to budget.
- Ability to set, measure, and manage multiple teams' performance.
- Strong leadership and staff development and engagement skills and ability to build partnerships across various functions.
