Business Operations: Within Digital, the Business Operations team is accountable for empowering solution delivery through horizontal approach to Portfolio and Financial Operations, arming leadership with information enabling strategic decisions, and inspiring collaboration.
The Finance and Operations Lead will oversee and execute financial portfolio governance, management reporting by ensuring that annual project expense targets are achieved, costs adhere to financial policies and reporting commitments are met to Finance and other recipients of financial information.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares and monitors forecasts and budgets for CTO Organization
Prepares monthly financial results, financial projections and analyses for senior management review
Ensures quality, accuracy and timeliness of the month-end close, monthly reports, accruals, forecasts and the annual budget / operating plan preparation
Provides insightful financial /analytical support for key business decisions
Provides financial support for project business case preparation
Develops requested ad-hoc reports
Collaborate closely with other team members to establish best practices, and process improvement
Leads processes requiring CTO involvement related to finance, as defined by central portfolio team, including understanding of all tools (P3, and capital), including ongoing cost transfers
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Accounting
6+ years’ experience in a financially oriented role (budgeting, forecasting, accruals, reclasses, variance resolution)
Experience with Ariba, SAP, SAP BI, Taulia
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence outcomes at varying organizational levels and the ability to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
History of successfully managing to financial goals, both in own area, and in support of a larger entity.
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
