Description
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery, including inspection, cleaning, lubrication and component adjustments.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues.
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
- Operate grinders and drill presses, service and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Utilize MIG/Arc welding skills as needed (preferred).
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Communicate any maintenance concerns and updates to management and team members.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic is preferred.
- Well versed in troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment.
- Experience working with software programs such as Megamation or CMMS.
- Experience with MIG/Arc welding is an asset.
- Exposure to dust and loud noise (hearing protection provided).
- Ability to lift, carry, and move pallets and materials weighing up to 85 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Able to stand for long periods while completing repair tasks and transporting pallets.
- Requires strong visual attention to identify pallet defects and perform precise repair work.
- Must have steel toed footwear in good repair.
