The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services Data organization:

As an Adoption Manager, you will drive the successful adoption and sustained use of enterprise technology products, platforms, and processes across RTX. Reporting to the Associate Director of Data and AI, you will develop and execute adoption strategies that connect technology investments to measurable business outcomes. Working at the intersection of change management, enablement, and customer success, you will lead adoption specialists and business champions, oversee training and communications, and use adoption metrics to improve user proficiency, engagement, and return on investment.

What You Will Do

  • Define and own adoption strategies and roadmaps for priority technology and business change initiatives, aligning activities with business objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Assess change impacts and organizational readiness across user groups, tailoring adoption approaches to different audiences and business needs.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and project leaders to embed adoption planning into initiatives from the beginning through launch and ongoing use.
  • Lead a network of business champions and super-users to encourage engagement, share best practices, and support sustained adoption across departments.
  • Lead and develop a team of adoption specialists, establishing team goals, managing workloads, and reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee training programs, learning paths, playbooks, user guides, and in-application guidance to improve user knowledge and proficiency.
  • Plan and execute communication campaigns before, during, and after product launches and organizational changes.
  • Establish feedback mechanisms, including surveys, lunch-and-learn sessions, office hours, and user forums, and use feedback to improve adoption strategies.
  • Define adoption KPIs and develop dashboards to measure usage, proficiency, engagement, and business value.
  • Analyze adoption data to identify barriers, resistance, and low-adoption user groups, then develop targeted interventions to improve outcomes.
  • Report adoption health, progress, and return on investment to executive sponsors and senior leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive sponsors, providing recommendations to drive and sustain organizational change.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal support teams to resolve adoption barriers and improve the user experience.
  • Develop repeatable adoption frameworks, methodologies, and best practices that can be applied across future enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in change management, technology adoption, enablement, customer success, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience leading people, teams, or cross-functional programs.
  • Experience driving adoption of enterprise software, technology platforms, or large-scale process changes.
  • Experience defining, tracking, and reporting adoption metrics to measure engagement, proficiency, and business outcomes.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with digital adoption platforms, user analytics, and adoption measurement tools.
  • Experience supporting the rollout and adoption of SaaS, cloud, AI, or enterprise collaboration technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and product-led growth practices.
  • Strong change leadership skills, including the ability to guide stakeholders through uncertainty and address resistance with empathy.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and build support among executives, managers, and frontline users.
  • Experience translating adoption data into actionable insights, improvement plans, and business recommendations.
  • Strong program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently while meeting timelines and objectives.
  • Experience coaching and developing team members, business champions, and super-users.
  • A user-focused mindset, with the ability to understand business workflows and design effective enablement strategies for different audiences.
