Job Description

As an Airport Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Bicycle Patrol Driver in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols by vehicle and bicycle, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements: 

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Airport Security Experience
• 21+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

 

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and airport partners while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of airport facilities, terminals, parking areas, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with airport operations, law enforcement, fire, medical, and other appropriate personnel as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
