As an Airport Security Officer Full Time Unarmed CCTV in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers and staff. You will use strong communication skills and technology to document observations and support day-to-day operations. - Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
- Airport Security Experience: 1+ years
- 21+ years of age
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
- Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
- NOTE: First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and airport personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, terminal areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor assigned areas for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and potential hazards, helping to deter prohibited activity and reporting observations according to site procedures.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with the public and airport stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
