Part-Time: 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
- College degree or High School Diploma with related experience
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-stress situations.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic understanding of security systems and emergency procedures.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Customer-service mindset with a professional, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
JOB DUTIES
- Patrol all areas of the hotel, including guest floors, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and parking lots.
- Monitor security systems, cameras, alarms, and access control points.
- Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergency situations and document all actions taken.
- Assist guests and employees with safety-related concerns or escorts upon request.
- Enforce hotel policies while maintaining professionalism and hospitality.
- Complete detailed incident and shift reports.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency responders when necessary.
- Conduct routine safety inspections (fire extinguishers, doors, lighting, etc.).
- Support loss prevention efforts and investigate theft or suspicious activity.
- Participate in safety drills and ongoing training sessions.
- Provide emergency first aid or CPR if certified and needed.
