Purpose of the role

To develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business, maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, and achieve revenue targets. 

Accountabilities

• Development and maintenance of relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and objectives.
• Presentation and pitching of financial products and services to clients, tailored to their requirements.
• Liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of client requests.
• Stay updated on market trends, financial products, and industry regulations.
• Collaboration with research analysts and other teams to provide clients with insights and market updates.
• Negotiation of terms and agreements with clients to finalise sales transactions.

Join us at Barclays as a Product Manager within the FX Product team. Your role will focus on enhancing the BARX FX electronic trading platform, driving key product initiatives, and supporting the migration of clients to the bank’s next-generation FX trading platform. You will work closely with Sales, Trading, Technology, Operations, and Client Services teams to improve client experience, optimize trading workflows, gather and prioritize client feedback, and contribute to product roadmap strategies. Responsibilities include delivering platform enhancements, streamlining processes through automation, supporting client onboarding and migration, providing training and product experience, and ensuring all developments meet regulatory and risk management standards. Your role is suited to a collaborative, commercially minded product professional with considerable analytical skills and a passion for delivering user-focused solutions in electronic FX trading.

To be successful as a Product Manager you should have:

• Relevant experience in financial services preferably validated experience in product management or business analysis, or keen interest in product development, ideally in FX or electronic trading
• Familiarity with FX market structure and trading workflows.
• Ample analytical and organizational skills, with attention to details and a high quality delivery mindset.
• Comfortable with agile development practices and working closely with technology teams.
