At GMIB.ie, a Gallagher company, we're looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join our team in Killarney, County Kerry. How you'll make an impact

As a Commercial Account Executive, you'll manage and develop a portfolio of commercial clients, providing insurance solutions that support their businesses and help them navigate risk with confidence. In this role, you'll:

• Build trusted relationships with commercial clients by understanding their needs and delivering tailored insurance solutions.
• Provide advice across a broad range of commercial insurance products and services.
• Work proactively to identify opportunities to expand and strengthen client portfolios.
• Collaborate with insurers and underwriters to negotiate competitive terms and achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that supports long-term client retention and growth.
• Ensure all activities are completed in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Stay informed of market developments, industry trends and emerging client needs.
• Work independently while contributing to the success of a supportive and collaborative team.

About you

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and delivering excellent service to clients. You'll ideally have:

• APA qualification or working towards APA is beneficial.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
• A proactive and customer-focused approach.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and a range of business systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in sales, business development or client relationship management would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
• A commitment to achieving professional insurance qualifications, fully funded
