Role summary:The Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Management, plays a critical role in enhancing supply chain operations by implementing process improvements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable solutions. This position supports distribution networks and fulfillment centers by analyzing data, resolving escalated issues, and driving efficiency across shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns. The role involves guiding operational execution, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, and applying best practices to meet business objectives. The analyst fosters strong partnerships, ensures compliance with company standards, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that support overall supply chain excellence.
About the team:
The team supports dock-level carrier operations within Walmart’s Private Fleet and third-party transportation networks, focusing on enhancing carrier performance, service reliability, and network efficiency. Members apply operational expertise and data-driven decision-making to manage complex transportation processes, resolve exceptions, and improve workflows. Collaborating across functions, the team leads initiatives that optimize supply chain operations and drive continuous improvement. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the group delivers scalable solutions that align with Walmart’s operational goals, promoting efficient and sustainable transportation practices to support overall business success.
What you'll do:
- Implement and improve supply chain and replenishment processes by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable solutions on schedule.
- Analyze data from multiple stakeholders to identify root causes of shipping, receiving, inventory, and return issues, driving network efficiency improvements.
- Support distribution centers, merchandising, and suppliers through performance reviews and operational guidance.
- Lead supply chain flow process enhancements by prioritizing product flow objectives and managing error correction and feedback loops.
- Provide expert advice on cost reduction opportunities using lean methodologies and end-to-end costing.
- Build strong partnerships to monitor progress, address business needs, and adapt to organizational changes.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in supply chain management and analysis with a strong understanding of replenishment and distribution processes.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and sustainable supply chain solutions.
- Skilled in root cause analysis and resolving escalated operational issues related to shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns.
- Ability to manage workflow and prioritize product flow plans to enhance on-time performance and network efficiency.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, transporters, and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge of lean concepts and end-to-end costing methodologies to identify cost reduction opportunities.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
