Responsabilidades
The Lead, Operations Integration position provides strategic cross-functional leadership to ensure Operations is fully integrated throughout the innovation, product development, and commercialization lifecycle. The role serves as the primary Operations representative, coordinating engagement across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, SIOP, Strategic Sourcing, Distribution, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Engineering to ensure products are operationally ready for successful global launch.
This position proactively identifies operational risks, facilitates informed decision-making, aligns cross-functional priorities, and establishes operational readiness that enables accelerated speed-to-market while maintaining quality, compliance, and supply continuity.
Responsibility extends through successful commercialization and transition into routine operations with an eye on the 5-year horizon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Operations integration activities supporting innovation/New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives and significant product changes.
- Serve as the primary Operations representative on cross-functional innovation and commercialization teams.
- Ensure Manufacturing, Planning, SIOP, Strategic Sourcing, Distribution, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Engineering are engaged at the appropriate phases of development.
- Drive cross-functional operational alignment that enables faster, predictable commercialization while maintaining quality, compliance, and supply continuity.
- Identify operational risks early and lead cross-functional mitigation planning.
- Partner with Operations leadership to develop scalable manufacturing and supply chain strategies supporting commercialization.
- Develop and manage comprehensive operational readiness plans supporting successful global product commercialization.
- Establish and maintain an Operations Integration governance framework supporting innovation through commercialization.
- Drive continuous improvement of operational integration processes, governance, and business tools.
Calificaciones
Required Qualifications
Requires a minimum 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent education and experience; Or 6+ years and a Master's degree;Or a PhD with 3+ years experience; or equivalent experience.Where required, the role must hold an appropriate degree in the industry (eg. Legal)
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of progressive experience within medical device manufacturing, operations, supply chain, engineering, or related disciplines within a regulated environment
- Experience supporting NPI, commercialization, or Design Transfer within dynamic Regulatory constraints
- Broad understanding of Manufacturing, SIOP, Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Distribution, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Engineering.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority.
- ERP/PLM experience required.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent preferred.
