About our Team
Our team is responsible of all elements of our journal and book pricing from perpetual, subscription to Open Access. We work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing teams to create customised solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
About the Role
As a Pricing Analyst, you will support strategic pricing and business model initiatives by analysing data, developing analytical tools, and providing recommendations that drive business growth. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other stakeholders, you will help shape pricing strategies, evaluate commercial opportunities, and deliver customer-focused solutions.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of pricing activities, including pricing strategy, analytics, pricing tools, commercial deal support, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
Support strategic pricing and business model projects by gathering and analysing business information, extracting key insights, and making clear recommendations.
Develop and maintain advanced yet user-friendly pricing tools, models, dashboards, and analytical solutions for internal stakeholders and customers.
Support pricing initiatives and strategic development by identifying opportunities to optimise pricing approaches and business models that drive sustainable growth.
Design, coordinate, and evaluate pricing experiments and live pilots to validate recommendations and measure business impact.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other stakeholders to develop pricing solutions that meet customer and business needs.
Support Sales and Deal Desk activities by evaluating pricing proposals, discounts, commercial impact, and deal profitability.
Monitor pricing performance and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions.
Contribute to additional pricing-related projects, analyses, and priorities as business needs evolve.
Requirements
Have the drive to develop innovative ways of delivering results and solving business challenges.
Demonstrate experience in reporting, analysing data, and translating insights into clear recommendations.
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.
Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex information to different audiences.
Have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Have experience with analytical or programming tools such as Python, R, Tableau, OBIEE, Access, or similar technologies.
Knowledge of AI capabilities and how they can enhance pricing, analytics, or business processes is an advantage.

Primary Location Base Pay Range: NLD Amsterdam (Radarweg) €49,000 - €81,700.
