Job Description:
As the Warehouse Coordinator, you will:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels. Expected inventory accuracy of 99.8%.
- Review inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
- Provides inventory reports to procurement and department managers as requested.
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with team members and vendors.
- Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
- Records movements, maintains database, and reconciles actual stock count to system-generated reports.
- Maintains Cycle Count Program and investigates discrepancies.
- Participates in the development of Inventory Process Enhancements
- Investigates Daily Inventory Discrepancies
- Makes transfers, tags and tracks inventory items.
- Ensures that FIFO and LIFO are maintained per customer expectations.
- Provides documents for PFG shipments and support as needed.
- Check in drivers by getting their information and communicating with the Receiving Team.
- Schedules for inbound and outbound appointments.
- Prepares Purchase Orders and Bill of Ladings for the receiving team and files Purchasing Orders and Bill of Ladings.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Ensure food waste is minimized, and food safety guidelines (Storing Food Properly, FIFO) are always applied.
- Inspect raw ingredients for quality.
- Safely and efficiently operate production equipment, such as mixers, slicers, blenders, and conveyors to produce products.
- Package and box finished good materials for shipping.
- Maintain cleanliness and handle food products in compliance with quality control procedures, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations to ensure the highest standards of food safety.
- Properly wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves, hairnets, face masks, and other safety gear, as mandated by OSHA and Company policies.
- Adapt to changing production demands and meet daily performance goals.
- Work independently and as part of a team in a structured production environment.
Requirements:
- 2 years or more experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with SAP and WMS programs is a Plus.
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
- Perform many job duties in refrigerated conditions (35-40°F) for extended periods.
- Follow all safety guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and OSHA regulations.
- Safely lift, carry, push, and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Remain on feet for the majority of the shift while performing repetitive motions, including reaching, bending, and twisting, as required.
