Job Description

Summary:

In this role, you will be part of the Distributed I/O team with Global Product Management responsibilities, reporting to the Global Business Manager, managing a portfolio of product line(s). This role will be based in Singapore but requires business travel overseas based on business requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

• Achieve yearly revenue and profit margin targets for the assigned portfolio.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle management for the assigned portfolio of products including forecasting, product enhancements, managing obsolescence.
• Serve as a key point of contact to assist with customer support and issue resolution.
• Analyze competitive products and develop comparisons.
• Translate market needs, emerging technologies, regulatory requirements, customer insights, and business strategy into a clearly-defined product strategy.
• Develop and own multi-year product roadmap aligned with the product strategy.
• Formulate compelling marketing messages for internal and external/customer presentations and integrate into sales enablement resources
• Define the product positioning and global go-to-market strategy. Train internal and distributor teams to promote and sell assigned portfolio.
• Participate in cross department projects to enhance technical understanding and influence evolution of products and solutions.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering or Business
• Ability to work with diverse teams across different locations/time zones
• 10 or more years of overall experience. At least 5 years of experience in Product Management/Marketing, Application Engineering or Sales.
• Willingness to travel overseas for short periods at a time for work (up to 25% of the time)
• Legal authorization to work in Singapore (no visa sponsorship)

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Equipped with knowledge of Industrial Automation and Control Systems
• Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology
