Job Description

As a Security Officer Lobby Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and document observations using computer or tablet technology. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
