The Opportunity
What You'll Do
• Liaise with sales teams to understand market trends and developments.
• Create forecasts for new products together with Franchise Forecast Managers (FFM).
• Support FFMs in establishing feasible statistical forecasts.
• Support FFMs in ensuring demand history is properly filtered and maintained.
• Review and analyze changes in monthly forecasts versus previous forecasts.
• Review and analyze actual demand versus forecast.
• Maintain demand history and exception management.
• Manage assumptions and elevate key assumptions to S&OP.
• Drive continuous improvement of forecasting processes.
• Establish and maintain forecast parameters such as time fence and consumption intervals.
• Make and review safety stock recommendations for the full forecast horizon.
• Maintain alignment of SKU forecasts with product family decisions.
• Manage forecast consumption and forecast roll-over.
• Support ABC analysis of products.
• Serve as the super user for the Manugistics tool.
• Train users on Manugistics and troubleshoot system issues.
• Gather data and publish KPI results, including forecast accuracy metrics.
• Maintain the OW Self-Assessment Checklist and define improvement projects where applicable.
• Act as the primary contact for demand and supply-related issues within the affiliate.
• Supervise the Logistics team to ensure no out-of-stock situations for key products, achieve target DOH, and minimize obsolescence costs.
• Facilitate monthly Pre-S&OP and S&OP meetings, including scheduling, meeting minutes, and preparation of key decision packages.
• Manage abnormal demand situations, including large orders and weekly order accumulation reviews.
• Analyze abnormal demand patterns to improve future forecasting.
• Coordinate SFE projects and act as the key contact person.
• Work with the SFE Project Manager and implementation partners on SFA deployment.
• Assist the Country Manager on SFE and Resource Allocation projects.
Requirements
• Strong IT skills and ability to operate complex computer systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage logistics and supply chain vendors to maximize productivity and efficiency through DOH and inventory management.
• Highly numerate, results-oriented, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
