The journey begins here - with Global- a 1st Flagship Company, where we are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign and delegate work to supervised employees.
• Conduct routine scheduled inspections on all vessels in the inventory, including fire and flooding alarms, structural integrity and security, hull preservation, CO2 bottles, cathodic protection systems, and dehumidification equipment.
• Perform quality assurance inspections of ongoing and completed tasks, ensuring corrective actions are implemented as necessary.
• Train ship personnel on proper inactivation and lay-up procedures for equipment, systems, and ship spaces.
• Conduct compartment closeout inspections in collaboration with ship personnel during the decommissioning process.
• Inspect equipment removals, cannibalization activities, and maintenance work to ensure quality workmanship, safety, and security of job sites.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of the alarm system Remote Transmitter Unit (RTU) and RUGID systems.
• Possess knowledge of SABAR/CBSS and MR systems and demonstrate proficiency in identifying and entering discrepancies into the Work Management System (WMS).

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum eight (8) years of ship maintenance experience or relevant military experience
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Security Clearance:

• Position requires SECRET Security Clearance
• Must be a US Citizen per Inactive Shipoff Instruction 5500.3B of May 13
