The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the execution, optimisation and governance of Prudential Malaysia’s digital marketing activities to strengthen digital presence, customer engagement and campaign effectiveness.This role ensures continuity across Prudential's digital ecosystem, including corporate website management, content planning and publishing, social media, performance marketing, SEO, AI Optimisation (AIO) and SEM. Working closely with agencies, vendors and internal stakeholders, the incumbent will drive execution excellence, maintain governance standards and ensure digital initiatives are delivered effectively and on schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
WEBSITE & CONTENT MANAGEMENT
Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Prudential Malaysia's corporate website.
Coordinate website updates, content publishing and enhancement initiatives with internal stakeholders, GHO IT and external partners.
Manage website requests and ensure SLA/TAT commitments are met.
Ensure all website content is accurate, compliant with regulatory and internal governance requirements, customer-centric and aligned with brand standards.
Manage the delivery of campaign landing pages, website enhancements, digital customer journeys and corporate website new features to improve content discoverability, user experience and conversion.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
Manage the execution of Prudential Malaysia's social media content and campaigns across relevant platforms.
Coordinate content calendars, publishing schedules and campaign deployment with agencies and stakeholders.
Monitor performance and engagement metrics, providing recommendations to improve effectiveness and reach.
Manage influencer, content partnership and social media activation initiatives where applicable.
PERFORMANCE MARKETING, SEO, AIO & SEM
Drive the execution and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns across owned and paid channels.
Lead agency partners to ensure quality execution, timely delivery, performance accountability and continuous optimisation.
Coordinate SEO and AI Optimisation (AIO) initiatives to strengthen Prudential's discoverability across search and AI-enabled environments.
Monitor paid media performance across key metrics such as reach, traffic, leads, cost per lead, conversion rate and return on media investment.
Optimise digital customer journeys, landing pages and conversion paths to improve engagement, lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
REPORTING & ANALYTICS
Consolidate and analyse digital marketing performance across website, social media, SEO, SEM and campaign activities.
Prepare regular reports, dashboards and performance updates for stakeholders.
Translate performance data into actionable recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness, customer engagement and media efficiency.
Ensure proper implementation of tracking, tagging, UTM governance, consent requirements and performance measurement across digital assets.
VENDOR, BUDGET & CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
Manage day-to-day engagement with digital agencies, media partners and external vendors.
Track digital marketing budgets, campaign expenditures and agency retainers.
Coordinate invoice processing, payment submissions and financial documentation.
Manage procurement activities, contract administration, statements of work and vendor onboarding requirements.
GOVERNANCE & STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
Ensure all digital activities comply with regulatory, compliance and brand requirements.
Coordinate stakeholder reviews, approvals and project timelines.
Maintain appropriate documentation, records and audit trails.
Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth delivery of digital initiatives and business priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media or a related discipline.
6–8 years of experience in either digital marketing, digital operations, website management, social media marketing, content marketing, performance marketing or related disciplines.
Proven hands-on experience managing corporate websites, content publishing, digital campaigns and agency partners.
Strong working knowledge of SEO, SEM, performance marketing, digital analytics and campaign optimisation.
Experience with digital analytics and marketing platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Looker Studio and major social media platforms.
Experience managing budgets, invoices, vendor coordination, procurement processes and contract administration.
Strong project management, organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Good understanding of governance, compliance, approval workflows and documentation requirements, preferably within a regulated industry.
Comfortable working with data-driven campaign planning, performance tracking and optimisation to improve customer engagement outcomes.
Excellent written and spoken English. Ability to read and write Mandarin would be an added advantage.
