Job Summary
Job Profile SummaryResponsible for selling new business through brokers and renewing existing business. Serves a key role within the sales and account management department of Promise Health Plan. Responsible for building strong and lasting relationships with assigned brokers. Provides prompt, exceptional, customer service, and will track client feedback to assist leadership in improving current services and developing additional offerings.
Essential Functions

Develops and maintains effective relationships with key clients, associations, brokers, and prospects. Travels as needed.
Focuses on revenue generation through the sale of new business and the renewal of existing business.
Sells and renews business for Promise Health Plan by understanding customer needs and building bespoke employee benefit solutions to fill those needs.
Owns the renewal process with assigned clients. Responsible for preparing, presenting and closing renewals. Part of the renewal process includes preparing and presenting plan performance data to key clients and their brokers quarterly.
Acts as the subject matter expert and liaison between the client, their broker, and Promise Health Plan leadership.
Masters understanding of self-funded ERISA plan administration as related to day-to-day customer service.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Education - Bachelor's degree. Business, Liberal Arts or Healthcare related field of study preferred.
Experience - Five (5) years sales, account management, or marketing experience. Experience with client-related sales, documents and reporting. Experience with the delivery of health care services to large employers preferred

Life & Health License from state in which work is performed.
Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable motor vehicle record as defined by the Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Chart
Proof of current Auto Insurance
Complete driver's safety training.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience with client-related sales, documents and reporting
Experience with the delivery of health care services to large employers
Strong communication and computer literacy skills.
Computer skills (proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, data entry)
Lead the development of a marketing plan to external customers
