FWS Student Assistant - Admission Operations

The Admission Operations office seeks motivated students to provide general office support. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Open, scan, and process incoming mail

• Provide administrative support to the Operations team

• Consolidate applicant and prospect records

• Perform duplicate checks for applicant records in our CRM

• Respond to prospective applicant inquiries via email

• Maintain current knowledge of admission and student services areas

• Assist in admission-related mailings

• Participate in special projects as needed

• Additional duties may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Superior organizational skills

• Energetic, personable and team-oriented

• Strong work ethic; Ability to take direction and follow through on jobs until completion

• Experience working independently with limited hands-on supervision

• Ability to take the initiative and remain flexible

• Working knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preference will be given to students with Federal Work-study awards

Hourly Rate: $17  Hourly Rate
10-20 hours a week
 

Work Mode:

• Hybrid/Remote – Employees hired for this position primarily work remotely, with the occasional on-campus presence required with advanced notice. Employees in this role will also be expected to use their best judgment to be on campus when necessary in order to best fulfill the responsibilities of their job descriptions. #LI-DNI
