What’s on offer?

Garfield Road East Upgrade is one of the key transport infrastructure upgrades supporting growth in Sydney's north-west. The project will transform the existing corridor into a safer, higher-capacity road network, improving travel times, accessibility and transport connections for the surrounding community.
 

Key project works include:
 

• Expansion of Garfield Road East to four lanes

• New and upgraded intersections along the corridor

• Improved walking and cycling connections

• Bus priority measures to improve public transport reliability

• Upgrades that increase network capacity and reduce congestion

• Improved safety and accessibility for the local community
   

To support the successful delivery of this significant project, we're seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Eastern Region Construction (ERC) business in NSW. In this key leadership role, you'll take ownership of commercial and contractual outcomes, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time and in line with project objectives.
 

Working closely with the Project Director, delivery team and key stakeholders, you'll play a critical role in managing contracts, mitigating risk and driving strong commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
 

What you’ll do
 

• Lead contract management activities across the full project lifecycle

• Manage subcontract procurement, negotiations and commercial agreements

• Monitor project performance, including cost, variations and contractual obligations

• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities

• Provide advice and support to project teams on contractual matters

• Support reporting, forecasting and commercial governance across projects
   

How you’ll connect to the role?

We’re looking for a Contracts Manager with strong experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects, who understands how to manage commercial outcomes in a complex delivery environment. You’re confident working across contracts, managing stakeholders and supporting teams to deliver successful results.
 

You bring a structured, detail-focused approach and are comfortable balancing competing priorities while maintaining strong commercial discipline. You know how to identify risks early, work through issues and provide practical, solutions-focused advice.
 

You build strong relationships, communicate clearly and collaborate across teams to achieve shared outcomes. You’re proactive, accountable and take pride in delivering high-quality work that supports the success of the project and wider business.
