This position is based in Vadodara, India as a permanent work-from-office role. The standard shift is 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM IST.
Responsibilities for the Sr. Staff Software Engineer
• Lead design and development of features within .NET-based healthcare applications
• Lead architectural decisions for cloud-native, microservices-based systems ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability
• Guide the team on where and how AI can be applied pragmatically to existing workflows
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to improve developer productivity and code quality
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to shape requirements, refine technical specifications, and assess feasibility
• Independently take ownership of projects, proactively identifying potential risks and driving solutions to completion
• Mentor and support lower-level developers, provide code reviews, share best practices, and offer guidance when needed
• Drive debugging and performance optimization efforts, identifying and resolving bottlenecks in applications and databases
• Work closely with QA, other engineers, and operations to support smooth releases and system stability
Qualifications of the Sr. Staff Software Engineer Tech Lead
• 12+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 3+ years in technical leadership or architect role.
• Exposure to AI agents, orchestration, or workflow driven AI patterns.
• Strong architectural and design understanding, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability
• Deep expertise in .NET technologies, including .NET Core, C# and SaaS application development
• Experience with front-end technologies, including CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular or React
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• AWS or Azure experience, including serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge)
• Advanced debugging and performance optimization skills, with the ability to analyze complex system issues and improve efficiency
• Expertise in designing, consuming, and integrating APIs and web services, including RESTful and SOAP APIs
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently, taking responsibility for projects and ensuring successful outcomes
• Experience deploying and managing applications in AWS, including knowledge of AWS services, architecture, and best practices
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments, actively contributing to process improvements and sprint success
• Proficiency in HL7 FHIR and healthcare data integration, preferred
• Understanding of healthcare compliance regulations and reporting standards, preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the Sr. Staff Software Engineer
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, assisting Product Owners in refining requirements and identifying the best approaches
• Ability to mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical support and promoting best practices
• Strong architectural and design understanding, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability
Nice to Have
• AI or cloud AI certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Anthropic) demonstrating practical experience with AI platforms, LLMs, or AI-assisted development.
• Prior experience in EHR, behavioral health, or healthcare SaaS.
