What You’ll Do
- Record daily journal entries, accruals, payroll, depreciation, and other accounting transactions.
- Maintain the General Ledger, Books of Accounts, and Fixed Asset Register.
- Support monthly and year-end closing activities and ensure accurate financial records.
- Review payment requests and assist with employee advances, liquidations, reimbursements, and AP processing.
- Prepare and file tax returns and statutory reports in compliance with BIR and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide audit support and coordinate with auditors, banks, consultants, and government agencies.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and other accounting-related projects as required.
Key Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years’ accounting experience, preferably in BPO/Shared Services; fresh graduates may apply.
- Strong knowledge of PFRS/IFRS and Philippine Taxation.
- Experience with BIR, SEC, PEZA, and statutory requirements.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems such as MYOB or Exonet.
- CPA qualification is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work onsite in Taguig City.
- 6-month project-based position.
Work setup
Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (8 am–5pm PHT) with a hybrid setup (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
