Position Summary

The Senior Coordinator, Providership is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of provider enrollment applications, agreements, and credentialing activities for Caremark and affiliated pharmacy networks. This role supports pharmacy participation in private, state, federal, and third-party payer programs related to new store openings, acquisitions, relocations, and ongoing business operations. The Senior Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining provider status and ensuring uninterrupted access to reimbursement for pharmacy services. This position serves as a key resource for pharmacy enrollment and credentialing activities, partnering with internal stakeholders, pharmacy teams, and external payer organizations to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, payer requirements, and company policies. Additionally, the role acts as a liaison between pharmacy operations, third-party agencies, and internal business partners to research and resolve provider enrollment issues, support regulatory requirements, and facilitate continued participation in government and commercial payer networks. This position is accountable for maintaining accurate provider information with federal, state, and private payers; preparing and submitting legally binding enrollment documentation; and managing key aspects of the provider enrollment and credentialing process across the assigned pharmacy network.

What You Will Do:

• Manage provider enrollment, credentialing, and maintenance activities for Caremark and affiliated pharmacy networks, including the completion of applications, agreements, and supporting documentation required to obtain and maintain provider status
• Prepare, review, and submit state, federal, and commercial payer enrollment applications, ensuring accurate disclosures and compliance with regulatory requirements, payer guidelines, and provider participation standards
• Serve as the primary liaison between pharmacies, payers, government agencies, and internal business partners to facilitate enrollment activities, communicate status updates, and resolve provider-related issues
• Ensure timely reporting of organizational and regulatory changes, including ownership, control, accreditation, and leadership updates, while maintaining accurate provider records and supporting ongoing compliance obligations
• Coordinate responses to government surveys, audits, and payer requests, monitor provider status and transaction access information, and help ensure uninterrupted reimbursement and access to revenue for pharmacy services

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare, pharmacy operations, provider enrollment, credentialing, contracting, compliance, paralegal services, or a related environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must be comfortable working remotely and able to work standard Eastern Time (EST) business hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with provider enrollment, credentialing, Medicare, Medicaid, pharmacy operations, or healthcare administration
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations and payer requirements
• Bachelor's degree

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $38.82

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
