A well established construction company in Gainesville, Virginia needs an Estimator who understands earthwork, grading, highway, utilities and residential and commercial construction well enough to price it accurately and defend every number in front of a client.

You will review project specifications and drawings, prepare detailed cost estimates across earthwork, grading, highway, utilities and commercial projects, analyze labor, material and overhead costs, collaborate with project managers and subcontractors and present proposals to clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

What you need to bring:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials related to earthwork, grading, highways, utilities and residential and commercial projects
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field preferred
• Ability to analyze labor, material and overhead costs to produce accurate pricing
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
