Description
The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
To explore, coordinate and manage the applications of building information modelling (BIM), construction digitalisation and divisional digital transformation
To prepare, review and coordinate BIM models and contraction digitalisation and robotic applications for project undertaken
To provide technical inputs on smart or innovation and sustainability initiatives to project implemented
To support the authority’s sustainability development at both project level and corporate level
Requirements:
Degree in Building, Construction, Engineering or related discipline
Relevant professional qualification(s) e.g. HKIA, HKIS, HKIE, HKIBIM and CIC certified BIM Manager, or other equivalent professional qualification
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years’ post-qualification experience in building, construction, engineering, or related field
Knowledge and experience in property development and construction workflow
Good knowledge and experience in Smart Site solutions and Digital Twin platforms for construction site management will be a definite advantage
The appointment will be made on a 3-year fixed-term contract, which may be renewable subject to appointee’s performance, the Authority’s business needs, and other relevant factors.
