Main Purpose of Job:
As Internal Communications Manager, you will support and help shape Arch Insurance International's (AINTL) internal communications function — ensuring employees across all geographies and functions are informed, engaged and connected to the business.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Communications Strategy, Frameworks & Governance
- Support the delivery of AINTL's internal communications strategy across business units, markets and geographies.
- Contribute to approval and governance frameworks that ensure consistent, on-brand messaging.
- Help maintain tone of voice and brand guidelines across all regions, while monitoring communications effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
Editorial Planning & Content
· Assist in building and managing an editorial calendar to keep communications consistent and well-timed
· Produce and coordinate employee communications across multiple channels — including the intranet, email, digital screens, newsletters and town hall materials.
· Ensure all communications are clear, audience-focused and value-driven, with each channel serving its defined purpose within the broader communications framework.
Stakeholder Engagement & Manager Support
- Support the information cascade process, ensuring employees receive key announcements through official Arch channels ahead of wider publication.
- Help prepare supporting materials for manager pre-briefings — including FAQs, talking points and scripted guidance.
- Help coordinate a Communications Liaison Network across AINTL's key territories to gather local news and ensure communications reflect the full breadth of our international operations.
Group Liaison & Alignment
- Support alignment with Arch Capital Group on enterprise standards and group-wide campaigns.
- Help share AINTL stories on the company intranet, championing local news and priorities at group level.
- Act as a collaborative link between AINTL and Group, ensuring local voices and successes are visible at enterprise level.

Experience in an internal communications, employee communications or related role.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style across audiences and channels, and the discretion to handle sensitive information with sound judgement.
Some exposure to communications governance, approval processes or editorial standards, with a willingness to develop and own these frameworks over time.
Comfortable engaging with and supporting key stakeholders, with the confidence to offer guidance on messaging and best practice.
Collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across a geographically diverse organisation.
Good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with content management systems and communications or analytics tools, with an interest in how emerging technologies, including AI, can enhance internal communications.
