Responsible for developing and managing relationships with local insurance brokers to drive profitable premium growth, increase market share, and support strategic business objectives. This role acts as the primary liaison to the assigned brokers, ensuring strong broker engagement, effective pipeline management, and successful delivery of insurance solutions for clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local insurance brokers and key decision-makers.
- Act as the primary contact point for assigned broker accounts, deepen partnerships.
- Conduct regular broker visits and business reviews.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Enhance broker satisfaction through responsive service and effective problem-solving.
- Work closely with underwriting teams to secure competitive terms for broker submissions.
- Monitor portfolio performance including premium growth, retention, profitability, and loss ratios.
- Promote profitable business growth while maintaining underwriting discipline, aligning with company risk appetite
What we would like you to have...
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Insurance, or related field.
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- Professional insurance qualifications (e.g., local insurance certifications) are advantageous.
- Experience 5–10 years of insurance sales, broker distribution, underwriting, or business development experience.
- Proven track record managing broker relationships and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance Motor products.
