Job Description
Reports to: Customer Care Manager
Department: Customer Care
FSLA: Hourly, non-exempt
Status: Full-time
Schedule: 40 hours per week
9:30am to 7:00pm, Monday through Friday
Position Summary
As a member of our Customer Care team, you will be responsible for accurately processing incoming and outgoing cases, delivering world-class service to our customers, and handling a variety of administrative tasks. You’ll have the tools and resources to make a meaningful impact on the patients we serve while contributing to the continued success of our Agile work environment—one that values smart, capable, and creative people who thrive in self-organizing teams.
We’re looking for individuals who demonstrate personal accountability, courage, curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to respectful collaboration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process incoming and outgoing cases
- Communicate promptly and clearly with drivers regarding case pickups and deliveries
- Answer multi-line phone calls courteously and professionally; take accurate messages when needed
- Perform accurate data entry of incoming cases according to doctor prescriptions
- Contact dental offices to obtain any missing or unclear information
- Respond to customer requests to ensure the highest level of satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Monitor and replenish supplies to ensure optimal levels are maintained
- Build and maintain positive, productive relationships with team members, leaders, employees, and clients
- Successfully complete SPA requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
- Proficient computer skills
- Trustworthy, reliable, proactive, and self-motivated
- Strong customer service mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Capable of sitting or standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds
- Visual ability to read fine details and handwritten materials
