Business Process Analyst
The Opportunity
In this role, you will partner with the Business Process Manager to support leadership activities, coordinate priorities and workload, engage stakeholders, and execute process improvement initiatives across the end-to-end Q2C process. You will identify process breakdowns, control gaps, handoff issues, and opportunities for improvement while translating cross-functional challenges into business impacts, implementation plans, and sustainable solutions. The role involves leading change-management efforts, facilitating process reviews and workshops, supporting system enhancements and implementations, managing cross-functional projects, and maintaining process governance, documentation, KPIs, and reporting. You will work across Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Tax, Operations, Master Data, and technology teams to improve process performance, financial data quality, order-entry accuracy, and customer master data governance. Through process improvements, stakeholder alignment, and operational consistency, you will contribute to reliable business operations that support effective performance management and ongoing innovation.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Partner with the Business Process Manager on priorities, workload coordination, stakeholder engagement, escalations, and process improvement execution.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and continuity while supporting leadership coverage when needed.
- Evaluate the end-to-end Q2C process to identify breakdowns, control gaps, handoff issues, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Translate cross-functional process issues into business impacts, recommendations, implementation plans, and sustainable solutions.
- Lead change-management activities, including communications, training, readiness planning, adoption support, and reinforcement.
- Facilitate workshops, process reviews, system enhancements, testing, implementation, and stabilization activities.
- Manage large cross-functional projects or processes with limited oversight and maintain accountability for results.
- Maintain process documentation, governance standards, controls, dashboards, KPIs, work instructions, and reporting insights.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
- Substantial work experience in business process improvement, finance business partnering, financial performance, or a related area.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional business process review and improvement initiatives, preferably across the end-to-end Q2C lifecycle.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with process mapping, workflow review, governance, controls, documentation, and KPI development.
- Power BI experience is a plus.
