What you'll do...

Supports tax department training and mentoring initiatives by developing and facilitating team training sessions responding to questions andinformation requests from team members creating and updating training documents and providing oneonone training and mentoring to associatesSupports the development of tax planning strategies by providing business financial facts researching tax rules related to the area managedperforming technical analysis writing supporting memoranda and developing Power Point transaction step plansManages low to mediumcomplexity federal and state tax returns forms and reporting of operations by gathering financial data from departmentsand divisions analyzing and incorporating data into returns preparing work papers and supporting schedules obtaining taxability status managingtax notices and recommending resolutions to issues within established timelines to senior management reviewing and responding to informationrequisitions processing financial and tax data using professional tax software partnering with stakeholders to determine opportunities for andensuring application of tax credits recovering refunds supporting the execution of tax planning by updating tax analysis and working with taxleadership discussing tax issues with business teams and presenting tax results to senior managementSupports the tax returns process by facilitating audit documentation maintenance and procedural developments by sharing audit process informationwith Compliance communicating audit process irregularities to appropriate management responding to auditor inquiries as needed compiling dataand creating reports to support senior management on state audit projects escalating potential exposure items to senior analysts and managementensuring accuracy of tax returns forms and audits by assessing tax work papers for federal state and international operations and advising internaland external customers on company tax compliance practicesDemonstrates uptodate expertise and applies this to the development execution and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice andguidance to others in the application of information and best practices supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs andbuilding commitment for perspectives and rationalesProvides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders identifying businessneeds determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices monitoring progress and results recognizing and capitalizing onimprovement opportunities and adapting to competing demands organizational changes and new responsibilitiesModels compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity byincorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans using the Open Door Policy and demonstrating and assisting otherswith how to apply these in executing business processes and practices

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
