OUR TEAM

Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development, we produce some of the world’s most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.

YOUR ROLE

• Support the safe operations of melting, mixing, pouring or pressing of ordnance
• Provide trade guidance and technical support within the team
• Implement process improvements of safety, quality or efficiency natures
• Work independently or as part of a team with limited supervision
• Prepare technical reports for assigned tasks
• Carry out technical non‑trade tasks that support daily operations

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Strong communicator with proven conflict‑management and teamwork skills
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability
• Knowledge of ammunition products, production processes and hazardous environments
• Familiarity with Lean/Continuous Improvement, project management, root cause analysis and configuration management

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
