The key purpose of this role is to design, implement, govern, and continuously improve the organization's health, wellbeing, and employee benefits programs across multiple countries in Africa delivering a comprehensive benefits & wellness strategy aligned to business priorities including a great employee experience.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Benchmark & analyse trends externally to optimize health and benefits offerings for the company.
Identify gaps and opportunities to increase value proposition to employees.
Manage internal & external stakeholders and vendors in order to deliver the benefits strategy.
Work closely with country people leads as a change agent for benefit transformation.
Stay abreast of legislation impacting benefits within Africa Zone.
Implement or align employee assistance programs and wellness strategies across the Africa Zone.
Ensures alignment to Global Benefits Strategy.
Implements policies and governance to control benefits costs
Supports and/or drive the use of technology on benefits for an enhanced employee experience
Develops and cascades benefits related communication and training across the Zone.
Supports and/or manage budget compliance for Zone with specific supervision of South Africa.
Supports the overall benefit restricted
Supports the South Africa Provident Fund & Medical Aid Fund committees, where required.

Minimum Requirements:
Tertiary qualification (Human Resource / Finance Degree) or similar
Min 5 years benefits experience in a large corporate (focusing on multiple countries)
Min 5 years' experience managing health and wellbeing portfolios
2 Years Management experience (essential)
In depth know how of the Provident Funds and Medical Aid industry, (Pension Fund act, FSCA, CMS
