Summary:

Supervises daily staff activities within Facilities Management.

Responsibilities:

Communicates and coordinates activities with customers and determines required staffing assignments and levels.Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols.Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Assists with competencies, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Required Work Experience: Three (3) years work experience in a trade specialty; HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical and Mechanical systems.

Three (3) years leadership experience preferred.

Experience in a Medical Facility preferred.

Other Information: Licensed tradesperson or Journeyperson preferred.
