About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager, Financial Accounting, Corporate & Regulatory Reporting to join our Finance team at RHB Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Bank's financial accounting and regulatory reporting functions, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and reporting requirements. You will work closely with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely reporting, provide regulatory advisory support, and drive continuous improvements in processes and controls.
What you will be doing
Support financial and regulatory reporting activities, including the preparation and submission of regulatory returns and reports.
Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax computations for RHB Singapore Branch and its subsidiaries.
Liaise with external auditors on year-end statutory reporting and audit matters.
Manage and coordinate responses to queries from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and other regulatory authorities.
Provide regulatory advisory support to business units and serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory reporting matters.
Review and enhance processes and controls to mitigate operational risks and strengthen reporting effectiveness.
Maintain and periodically review policy documents to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, business needs, and market developments.
Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new products, system enhancements, and regulatory change initiatives to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support regulatory change management and reporting enhancements.
Ensure all reporting deliverables are completed accurately and within stipulated deadlines.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, regulatory reporting, audit, or banking finance functions.
Strong knowledge of MAS regulations, banking regulatory reporting requirements, and financial reporting standards.
Experience in preparing statutory financial statements and managing audit engagements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience in regulatory change initiatives, process improvement, and control enhancement.
