Intern, Marketing (Brand Strategy & Engagement)

Summary

The Brand Marketing Intern will support both Brand Strategy & Engagement and Social Marketing initiatives within Scoot's Brand Marketing team. The role provides hands-on exposure to integrated marketing, from campaign planning and brand activations to content creation and social media management.

Working closely with brand managers, agencies and cross-functional stakeholders, the intern will contribute to the development of campaigns, social content, partnerships and brand engagement initiatives that strengthen Scoot's brand perception and customer connection across the region.

Job Description

As part of Scoot's Brand Marketing team, you will gain exposure across both brand-building and social marketing functions.

Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Engagement

• Support the planning and execution of brand campaigns, partnerships and engagement initiatives.
• Assist with research into consumer, travel and cultural trends to identify opportunities for brand storytelling and campaign development.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and agency partners on campaign planning, asset development and project administration.
• Assist with campaign reporting, competitor tracking and post-campaign evaluations.
• Support the development of presentations, marketing materials and internal communications.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas that strengthen Scoot's brand relevance and distinctiveness.
  

Social & Content Marketing

• Support content planning and community engagement across Scoot's social media channels.
• Research emerging platform trends, creator content and audience behaviours to inform content recommendations.
• Assist with content production activities including ideation, scripting, storyboarding, filming and editing where required.
• Help manage content calendars and coordinate with agency and internal stakeholders.
• Track content performance and compile reports to identify learnings and opportunities for optimisation.
• Support ad-hoc campaign launches, tactical promotions and partner collaborations across digital channels.

General

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Performance Marketing, CRM, Customer Experience, Network Planning, Sales, Digital Experience and Operations.
• Provide administrative and project support across Brand Marketing initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Knowledge of all social media channels, especially TikTok, XiaoHongShu, X, FB and IG. 
• Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
• Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity.
• Conceptual and intuitive thinker with business acumen.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and without complete information.
• Independent self-starter.
