Project Controls Specialist – Data Centre & Power Generation

Location: Dallas, Texas — office-based
Employment: Direct hire or contract

The opportunity

Join an international energy developer that designs, builds and operates power infrastructure for major energy users. Supporting a significant data centre and dedicated power generation project, you’ll help establish the project controls processes needed to keep delivery on track. Working closely with project leadership, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership, improve visibility of project performance and support key decisions throughout a fast-moving development.

Key duties

• Develop and maintain project budgets, cost tracking and forecasts.

• Monitor expenditure, commitments and progress against project plans.

• Identify variances and emerging risks, highlighting corrective actions.

• Support cost estimating and assess the impact of project changes.

• Coordinate with scheduling, procurement and delivery teams to maintain accurate reporting.

• Prepare clear project performance reports for leadership.

What we’re looking for

• Project controls experience on large construction, energy or infrastructure projects.

• Strong cost control, forecasting and reporting skills.

• An understanding of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.

• Confidence working independently and establishing practical project controls processes.

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

• Availability to work from the Dallas office.
