ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced EMEA Senior Financial Reporting & Consolidation Analyst to join our EMEA Finance team. In this regional role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of financial reporting across multiple countries within the EMEA region.
As a trusted finance partner, you will collaborate closely with local finance teams, Group Finance, and senior stakeholders to support financial closing activities, strengthen reporting controls, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with IFRS and Group reporting requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The mission of the EMEA Finance team is to provide transparent, reliable, and actionable financial information that supports strategic decision-making and sustainable business growth. As EMEA Financial Reporting & Consolidation Analyst, you will act as a key control and governance partner, helping to enhance reporting quality, improve processes, and support the integrity of financial information across the region.
- Review and validate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages submitted by EMEA entities.
- Support and monitor the financial closing process across the region.
- Ensure timely completion of reporting activities and proactively follow up on reporting deadlines.
- Perform completeness, consistency, and logical checks of financial data, including Balance Sheet, P&L, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, and Intercompany reporting.
- Review key reconciliations and reporting schedules to ensure compliance with Group requirements.
- Investigate anomalies, identify inconsistencies, and coordinate corrective actions with local finance teams.
- Support local entities in the application of Group accounting policies and IFRS standards.
- Assist in resolving technical accounting and reporting issues.
- Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to finance teams across the EMEA region.
- Develop reporting instructions, process documentation, and training materials.
- Support reporting systems and contribute to system enhancement and finance transformation initiatives.
- Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement projects within financial reporting and consolidation processes.
ABOUT YOU
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Approximately 5 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, controlling, audit, or a similar finance role.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial controls.
- Hands-on experience reviewing financial reporting packages and performing reconciliations.
- Knowledge of IFRS reporting and local GAAP reconciliation processes.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to challenge reported figures, identify issues, and influence stakeholders to resolve them.
- Experience working in a multinational and multi-country environment.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and training skills.
- Affinity for financial systems and reporting technologies.
- Experience with IBM Cognos, Tagetik, or similar financial reporting and consolidation tools will be considered a strong asset.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
