Description
Executive Assistant to the CRO
Location: Mississauga, ON
Job Type: Full-Time, In-Office
Are you the person who naturally stays one step ahead?
We're supporting a client with an urgent search for an Executive Assistant to the CRO, a role designed for someone who is highly organized, proactive and comfortable wearing many hats.
This isn't a position where you'll simply wait for a to-do list. You'll be trusted to manage priorities, keep things moving, solve problems and anticipate what needs to happen next. Your days may involve executive support in the morning, coordinating a project or event in the afternoon, and helping with marketing or financial administration in between.
If you're someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and gets satisfaction from making things run smoothly, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do
- Manage calendars, meetings, appointments and schedules.
- Prepare agendas, meeting materials and follow-up notes.
- Draft professional emails, correspondence, reports and presentations.
- Track priorities, deadlines and outstanding action items.
- Coordinate with employees, clients, vendors and external contacts.
- Conduct research and summarize information.
- Assist with receipts, expenses, financial records and basic bookkeeping.
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable documentation.
- Coordinate social media content, calendars and marketing activities.
- Create presentations, graphics and business materials using Canva.
- Help organize meetings, lunches, events and employee activities.
- Monitor office supplies, refreshments and general workplace needs.
- Maintain digital office-screen content and coordinate basic AV/IT follow-up.
- Support CRM updates, project tracking, vendors and special projects.
- Assist with designated personal administrative tasks for the executive.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is organized, polished, resourceful and naturally proactive.
You should have:
- 2–5 years of experience in executive assistance, administration, office management or a similar role.
- Experience supporting a senior executive, entrepreneur or business owner is an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- The ability to manage competing priorities without losing sight of deadlines.
- Confidence working independently and following up with others.
- Professionalism, discretion and sound judgment.
- Basic bookkeeping or financial administration experience is an asset.
- Marketing or social media experience is an asset.
- Strong comfort with Microsoft 365 and Canva.
- Experience with QuickBooks, CRM systems or similar tools is an asset.
What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?
The right person doesn't need to be reminded about every detail. They notice, organize, follow up and take action.
You'll know you're succeeding when the executive is prepared for what's coming, deadlines aren't missed, follow-ups happen without prompting, and everyday responsibilities are handled smoothly and confidently.
The goal is to grow from learning the role → executing → taking ownership → anticipating.
Why This Opportunity?
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than a traditional administrative position. You'll work across executive support, finance, marketing, operations, events and projects, giving you broad exposure and the opportunity to make a visible impact.
If you enjoy variety, thrive on responsibility and take pride in being the person others can rely on, you'll have plenty of room to make this role your own.
