We're looking for two Business Analyst’s to join our team here at Cabot Financial, where you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering business and technology change across our organisation. You’ll take ownership of initiatives from discovery through to implementation, partnering with business stakeholders, Product Managers, and technical teams to define requirements, shape solutions, and ensure successful delivery.
This is an ideal opportunity for a self-sufficient and detail-oriented Business Analyst with experience in financial services who enjoys building strong relationships, navigating complex challenges, and seeing change through from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities include:
Lead business change initiatives through the full project lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through to implementation and post-release support.
Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand needs, define requirements, and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Testers, Architects, and Operations teams to design effective business and technology solutions.
Document and analyse current and future state processes, ensuring solutions deliver measurable business value.
Refine and manage product backlogs within Azure DevOps, ensuring work is prioritised and ready for delivery within Agile sprints.
Support testing activities, including UAT planning and execution, defect triage, and business readiness activities.
Produce and maintain high-quality process, solution, and project documentation, including knowledge transfer and training materials.
Contribute to Agile ceremonies, continuous improvement initiatives, and the development of Business Analysis best practices across the organisation.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and Programme Managers, ensuring risks, dependencies, and progress are effectively communicated.
We are looking for someone with:
Knowledge & Experience
Awareness & experience of business and data analysis tools and techniques such as: requirements elicitation, structured analysis and design, process mapping and component business modelling, business process re-engineering.
Experience of change management principles
Demonstrates excellent communication skills both written and verbal using a variety of methods, the ability to get the message across and relative to the audience.
Fosters professional relationships, listens, encourages discussion and promotes two-way communication.
Establishes responsible deadlines and personal work plans and manages time effectively
Excellent planning and organisational skills, able to juggle competing priorities and take an appropriate course of action.
Has high levels of resilience, able to take input and direction to run with a task, works on own initiative.
