Job Description Summary

We are seeking a Plant Engineer – Product & Process with solid experience in automotive manufacturing environments, specifically in machining operations, to lead process optimization initiatives and support operational excellence.

Job Description:

• Design, develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, safety and cost performance.
• Support product and process launches from prototype stages through mass production.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, PFMEAs, Work Instructions and plant layouts.
• Drive cycle time reduction and productivity improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Provide technical support to Production, Quality, Planning and New Launch teams.
• Define and implement process improvement strategies focused on operational performance and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and improve key manufacturing KPIs related to efficiency, scrap, quality and cost.

Required Skills and Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Manufacturing or Process Engineering role within the automotive industry.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.

Technical Requirements

• Strong knowledge of machining processes such as CNC turning, milling, grinding and cold forming.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans and other AIAG Core Tools.
• GD&T interpretation and application.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Process standardization and continuous improvement projects.
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Industrialization and ramp-up of manufacturing processes.
