Armed Security Officer

City Security Services is seeking experienced security professionals to protect governmental facilities and support safe public transportation operations.

The officer will provide security coverage, patrol assigned areas, respond to incidents, assist patrons and employees, and communicate security concerns to appropriate personnel.
 

Pay: $22/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77030
Schedule: Full-Time, Afternoon, 40 hours/week

• Saturday: 2:00PM - 10:00PM
• Sunday: 2:00PM - 10:00PM
• Monday: 2:00PM - 10:00PM
• Tuesday: 2:00PM - 10:00PM
• Wednesday: 2:00PM - 10:00PM

Responsibilities

• Provide fixed-post and mobile security.
• Conduct facility patrols.
• Monitor for safety and security violations.
• Respond to emergencies and alarms.
• Assist injured or ill individuals.
• Request professional emergency assistance.
• Monitor visitors.
• Report hazards, spills, and equipment malfunctions.
• Respond to criminal activity.
• Take authorized action regarding violations and unauthorized access.
• Complete reports.
• Follow applicable General and Post Orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 21.
• Active Level 3 security certification.
• Guard license in hand.
• Current baton and OC credentials.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean three-year driving history.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Successful PRT completion.
• Successful completion of required 24-hour training.
• Required education or security/military/law enforcement/corrections experience.
