Armed Security Officer

City Security Services is seeking qualified security officers to support the security of transportation facilities and the people who utilize them.

City Security Services is hiring qualified security officers to perform security and safety duties at transit-based facilities.

Officers will be responsible for routine patrols, emergency response, visitor processing, incident reporting, and maintaining a secure environment.

Pay: $22/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77054
Schedule: Part-Time, Split Shift, 24 hours/week

• Saturday: 6:00am-2:00pm
• Sunday: 6:00pm-2:00pm
• Monday: 2:00pm-10:00pm

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct security patrols.
• Provide static post coverage.
• Monitor public and restricted areas.
• Respond to alarms.
• Respond to security emergencies.
• Assist patrons and employees.
• Provide basic first aid when appropriate.
• Request emergency medical or public safety assistance.
• Monitor visitors.
• Identify safety hazards.
• Report spills and equipment issues.
• Address unauthorized access when legally authorized.
• Complete required reports.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

• Active Level 3 certification.
• Guard license in hand.
• Baton certification.
• OC certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean three-year driving record.
• Basic technical skills.

Candidates must also meet the education/experience standard, pass the PRT, complete the required 24-hour course, and be at least 21.
