Armed Security Officer

City Security Services is looking for experienced security professionals interested in providing security services in a public transportation environment.

Transit Security Officers are expected to maintain a professional presence, follow established procedures, respond to incidents, and assist members of the public when needed.
 

Pay: $22/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77054
Schedule: Part-Time, Split Shift, 24 hours/week

• Wednesday: 2:00pm- 10:00pm
• Thursday: 10:00pm- 6:00am
• Friday: 10:00pm-6:00am

Responsibilities

• Perform security posts and patrols.
• Monitor facility conditions.
• Observe and report suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to security alerts.
• Respond to fire, burglary, and other alarms.
• Assist sick or injured patrons and employees.
• Provide basic first aid as appropriate.
• Contact emergency services.
• Process visitors.
• Report hazards and equipment malfunctions.
• Address unauthorized access within legal authority.
• Complete reports.
• Follow General Orders and Post Orders.

Required Qualifications

• Active Level 3 certification.
• Guard license in hand.
• Current baton and OC certifications.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record for three years.
• Ability to pass the PRT.
• Ability to complete required 24-hour training.
• Basic technical application proficiency.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Required education/experience combination.
