As an E-Commerce Manager, you will oversee and drive the online sales strategy for Danone Egypt by managing e-commerce platforms, optimizing user experience, and increasing online revenue. 

 

About the job

As an E-Commerce Manager, you will be doing the following activities:

 

Strategy Development and Execution:

• Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive online sales growth.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align e-commerce initiatives with overall business objectives.

Website Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce website, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Manage website content, including product listings, descriptions, images, and promotions.
• Coordinate with IT and web development teams to implement new features and resolve technical issues.

Digital Marketing:

• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and affiliate marketing.
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize ROI.
• Utilize analytics tools to track website traffic, conversion rates, and customer behavior.

Customer Experience:

• Enhance the online shopping experience by implementing user-friendly features and functionalities.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain customer loyalty programs and retention strategies.

Sales and Revenue Management:

• Set and achieve sales targets and KPIs for the e-commerce platform.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure product availability.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor the e-commerce team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
• Lead the customers and drive the business goals and agenda comprehensively.

 

 

 

About You

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

• +5 years of experience in the online business
• Strategic thinking and planning
• Bachelor's degree in business or any related major
• Stakeholders' management, influence & communication
•  Presentation & Analytical skills
• Agility to market dynamics
• Fluent English and Arabic: writing and speaking
