The Role at a Glance
The Program Coordinator, under direction of the Infrastructure Training and Safety Institute (ITSI) Program Director, is responsible for ITSI division program coordination of the TEEX Workforce Development Programs at the Coastal Bend Occupational Advanced Skills Training (COAST) in Corpus Christi, Texas and the RGV Advanced Manufacturing Hub (RAM) in Brownsville, Texas. The Program Coordinator collaborates with the point of contact at host locations, assists in marketing training & technical assistance, coordinates training schedules & deliveries of classes, monitors performance of instructors and classes, and manages the assigned fiscal budget for the program.
This position reports to the ITSI Division Director.
Qualifications of the Role
Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years of Program Coordination or related experience.
Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Equivalency: Will consider seven years of related experience (Listed Above) with an Associate's Degree in applicable field from an accredited college or university OR nine years of related experience (Listed Above) with a High School Diploma/GED.
