  • Work closely with the Foundation’s Project Management Office (PMO), adopting its methodologies and ways of working.
  • Organise and chair project meetings, workshops and steering group sessions.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to leadership and stakeholders at all levels.

Testing and implementation

  • Design, coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including developing test scripts, recording results and providing clear, actionable insights to inform go/no-go decisions.
  • Ensure unit and integration testing is carried out thoroughly, with timely resolution of defects and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Oversee change management activities, including communications, training and post-implementation support documentation.
  • Champion continuous improvement and lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality outcomes.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong team ethic; able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills across functions and organisational levels, including stakeholder engagement, negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and evolving business needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative and proactive approach to making progress through complexity and uncertainty.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Proven experience managing technology initiatives and implementing technology solutions, including complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Experience managing system implementation projects, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
  • Experience managing technology vendor relationships.
  • Experience managing technology change and supporting or leading organisational change initiatives, with a strong understanding of change management frameworks and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks, such as PRINCE2, Agile and those established by PMI.
  • Experience working closely with internal governance and oversight groups, such as a PMO.
  • Experience designing, managing or overseeing UAT cycles, including documenting test cases and reporting outcomes.
  • A professional project management certification would be desirable.
  • Experience working in non-profit, international organisations or standard-setting bodies would be desirable.
