Senior Relationship Manager, Private Banking - NRI

What is the opportunity?

As a Senior Relationship Manager within our private banking business, you will have the opportunity to build and develop a high-quality client franchise, supported by the breadth and capabilities of RBC's global platform. You will work closely with investment, wealth planning, credit and product specialists to deliver holistic solutions for High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth NRI clients across Asia.

What will you do?

• Build, develop and manage long term HNW and UHNW NRI client relationships

• Originate new client relationships and sustainably grow AUM, revenue and overall client franchise

• Understand client's investment, financing and wealth-planning objectives and deliver appropriate solutions in partnership with product specialists

• Leverage the broader capabilities or RBC to provide holistic solutions across clients' wealth needs

• Act as a trusted adviser and ambassador for RBC in the market

• Maintain the highest standards of suitability, KYC, AML, due diligence, and cross-border compliance

• Collaborate across Private Banking and the wider RBC franchise to deepen client relationship and identify opportunities

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience advising HNW/UHNW clients within private banking or wealth management

• Demonstrated track record of acquiring, developing and retaining sophisticated client relationships

• Strong understanding of investments, credit and broader wealth management solutions

• Established market connectivity and ability to develop a sustainable client franchise

• Strong commercial judgement combined with a sound understanding of regulatory, suitability and risk requirements

• Ability to collaborate effective with investment, product and wealth planning specialists

• Possess, or be able to obtain, the relevant regulatory qualifications and registrations required in Singapore or Hong Kong

Nice-to-have

• Degree educated

• Certified ECF qualification is preferred
